David Sission, Ph.D.

David Sisson has extensive experience designing and developing commercial software systems. Most recently he built and led Data Engineering and Data Science at an Ad Tech firm during their transition from a service-oriented business to platform provider. He has been a full product life cycle developer, and he has built teams necessary to scale these processes. He has experience building automated, data-driven, general business systems and data-acquisition/analysis applications in scientific and engineering settings. His tech career is informed by a Ph.D. in Neurophysiology and nine years of research experience in academic and pharmaceutical settings with a focus on using computational neuroscience to bridge micro (molecular and cellular) and macro (behavioral).
