Sean McOwen

Sean McOwen is a senior research engineer at BlockScience. He previously worked in a quantitative hedge fund startup where he was able to wear many hats as a researcher, data scientist, and developer, depending on the day. He graduated from Boston College with a double major in Finance and Economics, received a Master of Analytics from Georgia Tech, and is finishing a Master in Applied Mathematics at Columbia. He also created and runs FinanceAndPython.com which is his passion project with the goal of providing free courses on utilizing python for finance and economics-based applications.
